You may have heard the reports that former New York Giants’ running back, Tiki Barber is leaving his eight-month pregnant wife for a new lady-friend. Well, now that mysterious blonde is unveiled.
Former NBC intern, Traci Lynn Johnson, 23, is believed to be the reason why Tiki is leaving his wife, Ginny Cha [seen here,] after eleven years of marriage and two glorious children - AJ, who’s 7, and his brother Chason, aged 6.
“After 11 years of marriage, Ginny and I have decided to separate,” said Tiki’s statement, released yesterday. “The decision was a painful one, but we are moving forward amicably and will continue to raise our children with the love they have always known.”
This is the same man who, when his own father walked out on his mom took quite a different tone;
“I don’t give a **** the relationship ‘didn’t work,’” he told reporters in 2004. “Not only did he abandon her, I felt like he abandoned us! I have a hard time forgiving that.”Apparently not when it’s him?
“We were shocked to find out that he could walk out on his wife while she’s pregnant with twins.” a family friend told reporters. “He was always the nice guy with a million-dollar smile,”
Tiki met Traci when NBC hired him as a talking head, shortly after he retired in 2007. She flew with him to Senegal in West Africa last year where he was filming a documentary, then attended it’s premiere – sitting right by his side. She also joined Tiki at the recent Vancouver Olympics, at which time Tikie introduced her as his “assistant.”
Sources tell the Huff Post, Johnson was “very quiet, very meek, and walked around with a backpack that made her look 17!”
Tiki has now left the family home on New York’s Upper East Side, and moved to a West Side bachelor pad. His next play is not known at this time, but it’s pretty clear he’ll have problem with letting us know…
