It’s been barely six weeks since Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson announced their intent to divorce, but new reports claim they may be plotting a romantic reboot.
On Friday night Ryan, 34, and 26-year old Scarlett were spotted at ‘The Little Door’ a popular restaurant on West 3rd Street in Hollywood, and spies tell X17 the shared dinner was unusually friendly for two people allegedly intent on divorce.
“The reservation was made for a private table and they sat there talking – very seriously. It wasn’t overtly romantic, but they seemed like two people who were together, no doubt,” a spy tells X17. “There was no tension, no conflict. They chuckled every once in a while and generally enjoyed the evening. They didn’t look like two people who’d recently broken up.”
The former [?] couple then slipped out the back door to avoid paparazzi, and left in a chauffeured limo for places and proceedings which are so far unknown.
Their split was announced on December 14 with this simple statement;
“After long and careful consideration on both our parts, we’ve decided to end our marriage,” it read. “We entered our relationship with love and it’s with love and kindness we leave it. While privacy isn’t expected, it’s certainly appreciated.”
While this low-key liaison may just be two mature people directing the end of their marriage like grown-ups, the less fabulous blogs are having trouble untangling their undies over the prospect of a romantic [and deeply unlikely] reunion.
