Shia LaBeouf Relives Childhood Grudge with Frankie Muniz

Shia LaBeouf Relives Childhood Grudge with Frankie Muniz

Shia LaBeoufFrankie Muniz
Did you know that Shia LaBeouf and Frankie Muniz are in a major feud? Neither did Frankie. Popeater says it started back in 2003, because Shia says that Frankie has always looked down at him. At that time Shia told Entertainment Weekly, “I used to see him at premieres and stuff and it would always be like he was looking down on me, and then it turned into we’re equal, and then it turned into ‘Oh Frankie, I know that guy.”
Well, Shia apparently still has hard feelings about those days and during a radio interview the other day with The Bert Show, the host mentioned he’s been in six #1 movies in a row.  But instead of just acknowledging the complement Shia got a little dig in on Frankie with his response, “While that’s flattering as hell, you could have put Frankie Muniz into any of the movies I’ve been in and it would’ve still been No.1.
Muniz who left acting to pursue race car driving a few years ago, and has since been in a band, heard about Shia’s dig and responded back through Twitter:
“Dear Shia LaBeouf, it’s getting creepy the fact that you can’t stop talking about me.  It’s been 12 years now. I don’t know you. Thanks.”
I gotta say I am with Frankie on this one.  I doubt if he had such a big ego as Shia perceived he would have ever had left acting.  And come on Shia, your on top of the world now, you don’t need to be lashing out and taking revenge for your childhood insecurities.

Shia LaBeouf to run LA Marathon to support Veterens Charity

Young actor Shia LaBeouf, 23, is really shaping up these days. His career is in full bloom, he has a girl friend who is a pretty impressive young actress in her own right and he apparently is ready to run a marathon. The ‘Transformers’ actor will undertake the grueling 26.2 mile Los Angeles Marathon race on March 21 as he aims to raise money for America’s largest non-profit organization US VETS.

The charity – which provides services to war veterans of all ages returning from Iraq and Afghanistan, is close to the star’s heart as his father Jeffrey fought in Vietnam and his paternal grandfather was a Green Beret.

“We are delighted and grateful to have Mr. LaBeouf participate in the marathon on our behalf,” said U.S.VETS President and CEO Dwight Radcliff. “Shia’s father is a Vietnam veteran and running the marathon is a significant way to honor his father’s service and the military service of others.”

LaBeouf is in a relationship with British actress Carey Mulligan, his co-star in Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps. Mulligan and LaBeouf were introduced by director Oliver Stone prior to filming and began dating shortly after. Michael Douglas who recently confirmed the two were dating, also claimed that he tried stopping them but his efforts were in-vain. “I warned them ‘Do not ever do that!’ But they are an item and they are having a great time,” he said.

Forbes’ Best Actor for the buck is Shia LaBeouf while Will Ferrell bottoms out

According to  a new Forbes magazine annual list, if your a Hollywood producer looking for the most bang for your buck, in hiring a movie actor, Shia LaBeouf is the man to choose, while Will Ferrell should be avoided for now.  LaBeouf has been named Forbes’ Best Actor for the Buck – for every dollar he pockets for a film, his movies earn an average of $160. Meanwhile Ferrell Tops the Most Overpaid as Hollywood’s Most Overpaid Star, according to Forbes researchers estimating his films earn just $3.29 for every dollar he takes home. To qualify for Forbes’ Most Overpaid Stars list, each actor had to have starred in at least three movies over the last five years that opened in more than 500 theaters, so it’s more than just a question of having your last movie bomb.  Forbes then applies a formula that calculated the actor’s estimated salary on each film, including DVD and TV sales, compared to the film’s total revenues.
So for Ferrell it seems more a trend that people are growing tired of his schtick, with his last big movies, “Land of the Lost,” “Semi-Pro”, and “Step Brothers” seen as disappointments. Highly paid Ewan McGregor, along with Billy Bob Thornton, Eddie Murphy and Ice Cube round out the top five overpaid stars, while Tom Cruise, Drew Barrymore, Leonardo DiCaprio, Samuel L. Jackson and Jim Carrey are in the top 10, of actors who cost more to hire than they appear to be worth at box offices. I am quite surprised that DiCaprio is  in this list and not at all surprised about Eddie Murphy frankly.  On the top of the best actor list following LaBeouf, are Robert Downey Jr., Christian Bale and Dennis Quaid.  Here’s the bottom ten, with the full list at the Forbes Web site.
Forbes 10 Most Overpaid Stars were;
1. Will Ferrell ($3.29)
2. Ewan McGregor ($3.75)
3. Billy Bob Thornton ($4)
4. Eddie Murphy ($4.43)
5. Ice Cube ($4.77)
6. Tom Cruise ($7.18)
7. Drew Barrymore ($7.43)
8. Leonardo DiCaprio ($7.52)
9. Samuel Jackson ($8.59)
10. Jim Carrey ($8.62)
