Pete Harris Music Website

Well, I've finished the music portion of Pete Harris Web Site for now.

Next I will collect more history and info for his Bio then work on collecting and processing some of Pete's older material from his vinyl records and cassette tape days.

Anyone remember "Grilled and Toasted" or "Champagne Cocaine"?

Some of my favorite songs were his earlier works back in the days when Pete played at "Dante's", "Last Chance Saloon" and "Bimini Bob's".

My all time fav was Calico Lady, He wrote that song in the late 70s and it only exists now on an old vinyl "45" complete with pops and scratches. Pete would hate it when I would request that song at Captain Hirams twenty years later because he would have to try to remember the words, but it was always right on and he did enjoy the challenge and got a great response from the audience.

Have a listen to Pete's Music

Pete Harris Site

I've been busy lately working on Pete Harris Music Site (my sister's late husband), I want to do what I can to keep his music alive.

Have a listen and let me know what you think of his music and the (Juke Box concept that I am using to play his songs)

Enjoy ;^)

While you listen to Pete's music, check out some cool Optical Illusions or some Web Animations then see My Photography, or Truck Photos.

Gone for a while

I've been gone for a while, but I'm back now.

I had to make a quick trip to Sebastian Florida to help with my Mom after a Hospital stay and have been away from computers for a couple of weeks so I haven't posted anything lately.

The timing of my trip turned out to be very special as the day after I arrived, my sister (Pam Harris) got a call to inform her that the City of Sebastian was dedicating a plaque to honor her late husband Pete Harris at Riverview Park on the upcoming Saturday which I was able to attend.

Listen to a sample of Pete's Music - Sebastian Song

Pete Harris was a song writer and musician. He was sort of a local legend in Sebastian and South Florida with his unique style and original songs about living in Florida.

Many of his songs were about Sebastian, Micco, Sebastian River, the Intercoastal Waterway and even about local people and places.

Pete had many followers from the Ft Lauderdale, Delray Beach and Boca Raton areas that would travel to see him at Ozzies or Captain Hiram's Resort while he was becoming an Icon in Sebastian.

Pete lost a battle with brain cancer two years ago but his memories and music will live on forever.
