Warrant Requested to Search Lindsay Lohan’s Home For Stealing Jewelry (update)

  If just half the stuff Lindsay Lohan ends up being accused of is true, the woman has no right to be walking around free, and I have little doubt she will end up in jail sooner or later.  I kind of gave up hope on her after she’d been accused of going AWOL at the Betty Ford (for which she’s never denied) and then being accused of assaulting a nurse in a supposed drunken rage (which she does deny) who tried to test her for drinking. Though the staffer that originally made the accusations isn’t so far pressing charges there are allegations she was offered money for her silence.  Out of rehab, and with all that behind her now you might think Lindsay would be extra careful to avoid trouble, and she has stayed quiet for a while until now.  The former teen star, is now being accused of stealing some high end jewelry in Los Angeles, RadarOnline reports. “A search warrant was reportedly requested Tuesday at the Airport Court to search Lindsay’s house for the item of jewelry in question,” the website quotes a law enforcement agent as saying.Radar claims that Lohan stole a high end necklace (anything above $5,000 would be a felony), and that law enforcement officials even have video and photos of her wearing the piece in question.  Radar couldn’t confirm whether the judge signed off on the search warrant.  And Lindsay has gotten off on incidents like this before including a missing $400,000 necklace from a shoot she did in 2009 for ‘Elle UK.’   But sooner or later unless your name is Charlie Sheen, things do catch up with you.
Update: TMZ reports that while police were in the process of getting a warrant to search Lindsay’s home last night, one of Lindsay’s associates turned the piece over to the cops. They say the owner of an L.A. store filed a police report, claiming a $5,000 necklace was stolen from her business, and confirm the store surveillance video shows Lindsay in the store, wearing the necklace before it disappeared. However it’s unclear if the video actually shows Lindsay walking out of the store with the jewelry. Even though the jewelry has been returned the owner could still press charges. So it remains to be seen whether Lindsay manages to dodge another bullet.

Lindsay Lohan To Get $1 Million Asking Price For First Post-Rehab Interview?

  It looks Lindsay Lohan is going to be well compensated for the minor interruption she’s had with that boring incarceration she’s had to endure. As you know Lindsay was sent to jail for 90 days last month, but got out after less than two weeks.  If sources are to be believed, then Lindsay Lohan will be getting out of the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Hospital as early as this week. While Lohan’s doctors have not written their final report,  they supposedly have already concluded her psychiatric problems are not nearly as severe as first thought, reports TMZ.  It was earlier indicated that the Mean Girls star was bipolar but that proved not to be the case.  In addition, the doctors do not believe the drug dependency issues are as severe as first thought.  This despite the fact she has been in rehab reportedly 3 times before?
So for suffering through this horrible ordeal (sarcasm intended), the little train wreck is gonna be rewarded by giving interviews of her time in prison.  Enabling mother Dina has said Lindsay plans to head back to New York after rehab, where she could earn anywhere from $25,000-$100,000 per “appearance,” at clubs.  And word has been she was asking for a cool $1 million for that first post jail interview, and rumor is someone has stepped up to pay.  According to Hollywood Reporter, Lohan is likely to be handed $1 million by OK! Magazine for her first post-jail interview.

Lindsay Lohan may need to chose pre-emptive rehab stint to avoid jail?

Just speculating here on the consequences of this, but it seems to now be dawning on Lindsay Lohan, the gravity of her situation according to reports. And the ’situation’ is according to Friends of the troubled star, not only is Lindsay still doing drugs and alcohol, but she can’t stop. The tell TMZ:

“She can’t make it through a day without it. She’s a mess.”

Another source says Lindsay wakes up with cravings and satisfies them fast.

Now back in the US, reports are Lindsay is freaking out because, unless her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, can change Judge Marsha Revel’s mind today in court, she will be refrained from consuming alcohol, wearing a SCRAM bracelet to monitor alcohol consumption, and submitting to random drug testing at least once a week. If Lindsay violates any of these conditions, the judge likely would revoke her bail and put her in jail. So if things happen as expected today in court, will Lindsay and her legal team hope she can go cold turkey? Or will she admit defeat and go to rehab claiming it’s “a preventive measure”?

Update: As expected Lindsay was ordered by Judge Revel to wear an alcohol-monitoring bracelet, called a SCRAM device. Lohan will also be subject to weekly random drug testing and is forbidden from drinking any alcohol as conditions for the actress to remain free on bail. The judge also warned Lohan that a missed drug test “is the same as a dirty test” and ordered her to continue attending alcohol education courses once a week. Well if Lindsay is clean as she claims this should all be a minor inconvenience. But if she is totally addicted as claimed this would be a good time to voluntarily go to rehab.

Judge tells Lindsay Lohan to get busy with DUI program

Lindsay Lohan got a gentle figurative kick in the butt to step up her alcohol education program classes, Usmagazine.com confirms.Lohan, 23, who didn’t appear in court for the hearing, has to start “attending every single week” to fulfill the mandatory six months of education by the judge’s deadline of July 15, 2010.  Apparently Lindsay has been “in compliance” with her DUI probation, which is another way of saying she’s been doing just enough to not be in violation of court orders, but not nearly enough to fulfill the court deadline.  The judge reiterated that Lohan’s other projects should not take precedence over her alcohol education program.
It’s not like Lindsay does have a lot of projects because her troubles and reputation has made it difficult to insure her and producers are reluctant to now take a chance on her.  And truthfully I think she already has thrown a way a chance to have a big movie career.  I was just reading where Rachel McAdams who graces the cover of the latest issue of Vogue, talked to the magazine about her former ‘Mean Girls’ co-star, Lindsay Lohan saying:
“I just remember marveling about how much she knew as an actor, how much she understood. She did very few takes and had this naturalness to her,” she says of the troubled Lohan.
To me she was one of the few childhood stars who had the look and talent to transition right into adult roles and it was already happening when her addiction and immaturity got in the way.

Lindsay Lohan in fling with male model?

Lindsay Lohan has supposedly switched teams again after allegedly splitting with her lesbian lover Samantha Ronson.

The Mean Girls actress met  male model Petey Wright during a photo shoot at a hotel in Hollywood last Wednesday. Sources on the set claim the pair couldn’t keep their hands off each other during the shoot, running to her nearby hotel room as soon as the photographer said he was done.

The lovebirds then moved on to Wonderland nightclub, where a staff member revealed they spent two hours kissing in the corner.

Lohan, who eventually left the club alone, later posted for a photo of Petey on her Twitter account, with a message about how much she enjoyed working with him, but denied there was any romance.

Lindsay Lohan not willing to get the help she needs

While it’s true the bar is already set pretty high, Lindsay Lohan’s recent behavior has been so bizarre friends are now urging the stress-riddled starlet to seek out some help.

With gainful employment now nothing more than historical fact, the 23-year old actress has been indulging in an unbounded orgy of nightclubs and drinking that has most of her close friends concerned. But LL’s  not impressed. “It’s not even being considered by Lindsay, it’s not even on the cards for her,” one insider told Radar.

Having been repeatedly absent from mandated alcohol awareness classes, Lindsay was summoned to appear at a Beverly Hills courthouse on Friday to resolve this mindless mistake, “The head of the program really feels he can help her through this disease that’s taken over her life,” says the source.

But those who orbit around her don’t tend to agree, “We are hopeful they will help her, it just doesn’t seem like it will be enough,” another insider opines.

One major source of distress for LaLohan [and us!] is her family. Especially her dad, “With Michael spouting off to the press and Dina pressuring her to get a restraining order against him, Lindsay can’t handle it; And unfortunately her coping mechanism includes alcohol,” the insider reports.

Her father’s endless, unwelcome press statements have apparently pushed Lindsay to the point of filing that order. But for reasons that ares not hard to define she seems oddly reluctant to take the last step, “The paperwork is ready, all she has to do is give the Attorney the go. Dina pushed her to do this, but this is someone who changes her mind ten times a day,” the enabling, excuse-wielding  friend tells the press.

But that’s not the whole story – It also appears her neighbors are sick to the teeth of all her fake dramas and want LL and her homies to find pastures new. “I’ve got nothing personal against her,” says a stressed-out homeowner. “But she needs to find a home in a gated community, because all the residents here are fed-up with this.” But let’s face the facts – if she lived in a fortress with guards at the door, how could LiLo make certain the press would get close? How would she keep getting the endless tabloid attention for which there’s no motive – and which she claims to ‘hate’? The girl has no career – this all she has left!
