Black Crowes singer, Chris Robinson becomes a new dad

It may not fit with his image as a devoted hard-rocker but Black Crowes lead singer, Chris Robinson now has a new role – as a Daddy. Formerly married to actress Kate Hudson, the 43-year old singer and his third wife, Alison Bridges took delivery of a daughter  on Saturday, and all three are reported to be doing quite well.
“Chris Robinson and his wife, Allison, have a healthy and beautiful baby girl,” his rep told People. “Cheyenne Genevieve Robinson weighed 6 lbs. 3 oz., and was born on December 26 at the Robinson’s home in California.”
Chris and Alison were married earlier this year, and announced in September that the baby was due. This is the second time Chris has become a new dad -  he also has a son, Ryder Russell, from his seven-year marriage to Kate.
But life as a dad can get hard – Having spent most of the year on tour, promoting the Crowes’ latest album, Chris told reporters he now wants to spend time with his new wife and child before the Crowes embark on a new grueling tour starting in mid-2010…
