It’s widely accepted that the best music is grounded in heartache, and since marrying Gavin Rossdale, Gwen Stefani has created some very good songs.
The pair married at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London on September 14, 2002. But it was soon discovered that Gavin had a daughter from a previous connection with designer, Pearl Lowe.
And his behavior since then has given Gwen strong material for her next album;
“A lot of the songs are about Gavin and what a jerk he is,” a source tells X17. “They’re so negative, he finally had to tell her ‘No more songs about me!’”
But this isn’t the first time Gwen’s found emotional revenge in her music – the songs “Don’t Speak” and “Cool” were about ‘No Doubt’ band-mate and ex-boyfriend, Tony Kanal, She’s also sung about Gavin before, such as in ‘Simple Kind of Life.’
“Gwen was pissed that Courtney Love blabbed about her affair with Gavin,” says the snitch. “Gwen knew they’d been together – but not right before their wedding, Some of the songs call him out for being a cheater.”
But even though Gavin appears to have faults, Gwen still wants more babies;
“Gwen is 40 and desperate to have another child,” says the insider.
The couple already had two sons – Kingston, born on May 26, 2006, and Zuma, born on August 21, 2008. But Gwen and her family are all keeping silent on when, or if, she will go through that again.
Do you think she’s right to trash Gavin in song? And would you have another child with him, girls?
