Having already displayed a certain taste in companions after failed romances with Joe Jonas and Taylor Lautner, Taylor Swift appears to have found a new friend – British-born actor Toby Hemingway.
Sources say the 20-year old singer has been seen cruising around Main with 24-year old Toby, whom she met when he was hired to play a groom in Swift’s new music video ‘Mine,’ which will debut on her CMT special – which just happens to be airing tonight.The pair engage in some mild romance in the film, but those close to the singer are remaining mute on whether Toby might join her on stage.
If this is more than just hype that got leaked for ratings, Taylor made a good choice for once. Born in Brighton, England on May 28, 1986 Toby moved to Ojai California with his parents when he was still just 13. He later graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York, and was soon making movies with A-listers, such as 2007’s ‘Feast of Love’ with Morgan Freeman.
The next year he joined ‘CSI,’ and he’s just completed post-production on ‘Black Swan’ with Natalie Portman, which is due out in December. So the kid has done good!
But what of his new role with Taylor? Can we expect some live, on-screen romance? A rep for the singer had little to say;
“We don’t comment on Taylor’s personal life,” the rep told Page Six.
