Since the loss of her brother on June 25 Janet Jackson has been the only member of that particular family who has been absent in the distasteful rush to cash-in on his death. But it now seems she may have been merely awaiting the right inspiration – A large enough check. Page Six is reporting the 43-year old singer will be the cover star of the October issue of Harper’s Bazaar, and will reveal insider details in a extended interview to be showcased inside, “She is giving them the world exclusive and is going to be on the cover,” says a well-placed informant.

No details have been leaked as of yet, but as that would clearly benefit both Janet and the owners and drive up the sales, you can expect this to change before the mag hits the shelves.

Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri have reportedly split after seven years together, according to Us Weekly. "His friends are telling people it's over," a source tells the magazine.
Dupri, who did not attend Michael Jackson's memorial last week, produced songs on Jackson's last two albums, which may have been a factor in the break-up, according to the source. "You shouldn't mix business with pleasure," the friend says. "Janet felt their lives were too crossed and they should have kept things sepa­rate." Jackson, who's keeping busy looking after Michael's children, an insider says, was previously (and secretly) married to Rene Elizondo. They divorced in 2000.
