Janet Jackson has kept quiet and out of the media since her brother  Michael passed away, but finally she spoke up  in the interview for the October 2009 issue of Harper’s Bazaar. She began: “People can have rhinoceros skin, but there’s a point when something’s going to hurt you. Not everyone is stone, stone. I haven’t watched the news in weeks. I had to ask my chef, How’s Obama doing? I haven’t read a newspaper. On top of that, [we've lost] a family member.” Interview highlights after the jump!

Janet Jackson tells all in Bazaar interview

Since the loss of her brother on June 25 Janet Jackson has been the only member of that particular family who has been absent in the distasteful rush to cash-in on his death. But it now seems she may have been merely awaiting the right inspiration – A large enough check. Page Six is reporting the 43-year old singer will be the cover star of the October issue of Harper’s Bazaar, and will reveal insider details in a extended interview to be showcased inside, “She is giving them the world exclusive and is going to be on the cover,” says a well-placed informant.

No details have been leaked as of yet, but as that would clearly benefit both Janet and the owners and drive up the sales, you can expect this to change before the mag hits the shelves.
