Kate and Jon Gosselin Officially Divorced
A judge has officially ended Jon and Kate Gosselin’s 10-year marriage, as the couple’s divorce was just finalized. Details will be coming out likely in buckets but we do hear, Kate is “thrilled” with the settlement she is receiving, and according to TMZ, will continue to reside with all eight of her children in the former marital home. Things all around look a lot rosier for Kate than Jon right now. The mother of eight recently made Barbara Walter’s 10 Most Fascinating People list of 2009 and is reportedly working on pitching a new reality show. Meanwhile Jon is being sued by TLC network for breach of contract, while a former lawyer is going after him for non-payment of fees. TMZ claims that Jon is in immediate financial trouble now that the divorce is final, because he got nailed with huge child support payments said to be somewhere in the five figure range and because of the lawsuit with Bravo has no real way of payingv
Court bans Jon Gosselin from further public paydays until trial with TLC ends
After a contentious and entirely self-inflicted court action, Jon Gosselin has now been banned from making any more cash on the side with new public appearances not meant for his show.
A Maryland Judge today agreed with Jon’s bosses at TLC, that the 32-year old multiple-dad’s endless, and entirely unauthorized media blitz was in breach of his contract, and handed down an injunction that stops Jon making any further appearance until he and his TLC bosses get this long-running spat to a trial.
And the gavel had no sooner fallen than TLC put out a response, positively crowing at the scale of their win;
“The Court has validated our view that Mr. Gosselin has a binding contract, and that he breached it repeatedly,” it reads.
And the channel are clearly nowhere near done with him yet; “We look forward to the next phase of the litigation, which is to pursue damages resulting from Mr. Gosselin’s numerous breaches,” the press statement explains.

Gosselin in turn filed a $5 million claim against the network, saying its representatives damaged his reputation and career by preventing him from working with other media outlets. All this while still going through what looks like a contentious divorce.
But now there could be a new law suit coming at Jon, to join his legal party. Gosselin’s next courtroom rival could be his first known post Kate fling, Kate Major. Apparently Kate wasn’t just a sexual comfort Jon sought, but an alleged former employee. Gosselin entered into a handwritten contract with the former Star magazine reporter wherein he hired her as his personal assistant, according to a document posted to Radar Online. Major who seemed devastated when Jon dumped her after their quick fling, now seems gearing up to sue him for breach of contract. “Kate (Major) called me and has retained my services regarding a possible breach of contract between herself and Jon Gosselin,” attorney Ben Pietra revealed to Radar Online. Jon has recently made some gestures, indicating he’s starting to realize he can’t run around like an over sexed teenager with his head cut off. But it looks like significant damage has already been done to his reputation and perhaps soon his pocketbook.

Octomom, Nadya Suleman desires Jon Gosselin??
As if Jon Gosselin doesn’t have enough on his mind, he’s now attracted the lustful affections of Nadya Suleman, the renowned Octomom.The multiplex mommy, 33, says she thinks Jon is hot, and has quite a crush on the soon-to-be divorcee. But she also has views about Kate and their oncoming split, “I wish everyone would leave her alone. I’m sure she trusts that she’s strong enough to handle it.”
Suleman, who has 14-children, compared to his eight, may have eyes for young Jon, 32, but she has sworn not to date until her kids are all grown. And that seems a wise choice in this case, as Jon’s family life is now swirling the drain;
After four years of strong ratings, Jon and Kate’s show became mired in their marital turmoil which has shrunken their fanbase to historic new lows, leading to last week’s announcement that their hosts, TLC, have now canceled the show.
According to MyFox reports, TLC are now stringing new shows together from past, unseen footage so the show will then last through the highly profitable ‘November sweeps.’ A spin-off, “Kate Plus 8” may then take its place, but that’s not yet sure.
TLC had just doubled its order for the drama-fueled show after Jon and Kate’s much-hyped announcement of their oncoming divorce drew 10-million viewers. But the pair’s endless high-profile tantrums put their ratings in free-fall and TLC suspended production when Jon ordered their cameras out of the house – losing them both hundreds of thousands in fees.
With two mortgages worth $900,000 and the TV income now gone, their bouts in the Courtroom should now be a feud.
Kate won round one when a Judge ordered Jon Gosselin to return $180,000 to an escrow account. For his part, Jon claims that Kate has more than $1-million secreted in hidden accounts.
This infantile spat should be solved on October 26 when a Pennsylvania judge is due to approve a settlement to which both have agreed.
Both Jon and Kate have since sought jobs in TV, but they may be too late — A clip of them both was loudly booed Tuesday night at a TV industry show…And quite rightly, too!
TLC Responds To Jon Gosselin, Suspends Kate Plus 8 Filming
Just a day after TLC announced that it would rename Jon and Kate Plus 8 to Kate Plus 8, Jon Gosselin fired off a cease and desist letter to TLC to stop production on Kate Plus 8 on his property. Gosselin suddenly realized that "his family was like a trainwreck" and the show is "detrimental" to his kids. "Jon realized his family was like a trainwreck, so he decided to put the brakes on the divorce and on the show . because if he didn't the family would be in a mortal accident . the victims of a trainwreck," Gosselin's attorney said.
