Arnold to Maria Shriver: Put the phone down

When the Terminator asks you to put down the phone one usually listens, except maybe for his formidable wife. California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger promised “swift action” after TMZ.com posted two pictures of Maria Shriver driving while apparently violating the hands-free cellphone requirement he signed into law and took effect in July 2008.  Arnold to Maria Shriver: Put the phone down

A video shot Sunday shows Maria taking her black SUV around a sharp right turn at a city intersection that way. An earlier photo was dated July 12, 2009.Schwarzenegger, who recently revealed that he cuts off the water when his children take extremely long showers, wrote to TMZ.com founder Harvey Levin: “Thanks for bringing her violations to my attention. There’s going to be swift action.”  Good luck with that Arnold!  Schwarzenegger is none too popular these days. A new Field poll in California shows that only 27 percent of voters approve of the job Schwarzenegger is doing as governor, his lowest rating in the six years.
