Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar welcome baby 19 a little early

Despite a rather worrying spell in the hospital, caused by a troublesome gallstone, TLC’s favorite multiple mommy, Michelle Duggar has now safely delivered baby nineteen.
The 43-year old reality star and her husband, Jim Bob welcomed a daughter, Josie Brooklyn at 6:27pm Thursday, at the University of Arkansas’ Medical Sciences wing.
Michelle had been a resident there since the gallstone situation erupted on Tuesday, and the new baby – who weighed in at a modest 1 lb. 6 oz – was delivered by C-section to avoid complications.
Both mother and daughter are recovering well, and Josie is now in the University’s Intensive Care Unit, getting round-the-clock care.
“The most important thing now is for mom and baby to get as much rest as possible,” reads their statement, as reprinted by People. “The Duggar family is grateful for all the prayers and well wishes during their recovery.”
Josie was not due until March, and only six-percent of all babies born this early have a strong chance of survival. The risk of health problems increases the earlier a baby is born, and 33-weeks is widely regarded by medical experts as the earliest that a child can be born and be sure to survive.
Josie is just 25-weeks.
Keep something crossed…
