The last time we saw Joaquin Phoenix, he was doing that “rapping as performance art” thing looking like a disheveled Charles Manson. But he has re-emerged clean cut again and joined ex girlfriend Liv Tyler to tape a promo for To Write Love on Her Arms, a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide. Joaquin also did a second video with Miley Cyrus and some other guy (below), and they are all encouraging everyone to vote for the charity to win a one million dollar donation for suicide prevention and the launch of a live online crisis network. Was the rapper thing an elaborate hoax, we may never know but I doubt it. Just thinking too, Liv Tyler is recently divorced and Joaquin seems sane again, could they get back together?
