Jessica Simpson goes bare for Marie Claire cover

With her music career apparently abandoned, Jessica  has now found a new calling – She’s become the first un-retouched model to gaze from the cover of Marie Claire.
Jessica, 29, is telling reporters she did the shoot to promote her new program; “A Beautiful Me” in which she wants to encourage young girls and women to love themselves as they are, and feel happy in their own skin.
“I don’t have anything to prove anymore,” Jessica tells the Post. “What other people think of me is not my business.”
While her new plan is scheduled to launch after her VH1 show, ‘The Price of Beauty’ closes in May, Jessica says her own looks always make her want to get something fixed;
“There’s always something, because there’s always somebody who looks better; That’s what we always compare ourselves to,” she told the hacks.
Jessica Simpson goes bare for Marie Claire coverAs part of hew new plan, Jessica recently traveled to India to witness first-hand the unhealthy, and remarkably painful lengths to which some women will go in the name of beauty, and says the trip has made her more confident about her own flaws;
“I think the journey was really about finding what was beautiful inside me and knowing it’s unique and rare. And it definitely changed my life,” she modestly claims.
But in a rather typical display of anorexic IQ, Jess then declared she’s still a big fan of cosmetic surgery;
“I’m not against surgery, if it’s for a woman to have more confidence,” she curiously explained.
So she wants women to feel good as they look – or get Botox to fix it, ’cause that’s still okay…Which thus undermines her whole point?!
Asked then what one thing she’d change about herself, the 5′3” singer did not miss a beat – for once:
“I just wish I was taller, so all the dresses would fit!” she opined.
The Marie Claire issue with Jess on the front hits newsstands on April 13, but the picture’s seen here – so what do you think?
