In a familiar re-run of rumors gone by, sources are saying that Avril Lavigne and her husband of three years, Deryck Whilbley are finally ready to put us out of their misery and get a divorce. Avril, 24, was seen shopping solo in Southampton last week, and that’s when the tongues started wagging again. “She wanted to get away from Deryck and have a weekend to herself,” says a friend. Later, Avril was spied dining at Georgica, an upscale eatery in New York’s East Hamptons, featuring modern American cuisine from renowned Chef, Robert Hesse. And sources told the Post she was having a ball – partying hard in the company of some young, male admirers. The paparazzi were watching, and as the evening dragged on Avril became quite concerned about the photos they got, “She kept running up to them and asking to see their pictures,” says one insider.
