Office star, John Krasinski to wed Emily Blunt

While Jim Halpert, his character in NBC’s ‘The Office,’ is about to get married to his long-time acquaintance, John Krasinski is set to achieve a unique double-header – He’s now set to marry the actress, Emily Blunt. The 6′3” Massachusetts-born actor has been dating British import, Ms. Blunt, 26, since last November, but neither has married before. “We can confirm that John and Emily are engaged,” a rep for Krasinski, 29, told NBC. Emily, who was previously connected with singing star, Michael Buble, is perhaps best known her her role in ‘The Devil Wears Prada,’ after which Meryl Streep, who headlined the flick, described her as “the best young actress I’ve worked with in years…Perhaps ever!“

The next season of Jim’s current showcase, ‘The Office’ will finally witness his marriage to receptionist, Pam. And the actress who plays her, Jenna Fischer, is also engaged in real life – to long-time boyfriend Lee Kirk. The pair began dating in January last year, and Lee proposed back in June while they were touring in Europe. Jen was married for eight years to actor, James Gunn, but they divorced in early ‘08 so it’s cool.
