Megan Fox Thinks Her Vagina Gives Her Power

Megan Fox told the October issue of Cosmopolitan that women hold all the power in the relationship because of their vaginas. Everyone knows that a Megan Fox interview is going to be just stuffed with ridiculous soundbites, and this Cosmo issue was no different.
    “Women hold the power, because we have the vaginas. If you’re in a heterosexual relationship and you’re a female, you win,” she said. “I never call them guys. I always called them boys. Maybe it’s a superiority complex — my needing to keep them down.”


But she switches gears and then cops to being monogamous at heart:

    “I have no problem with commitment — you can’t have a real relationship without it,” she said. “I can flip on a switch in my brain, and even if the next Brad Pitt is standing next to me, I won’t look at him. But I can also turn that switch off, and then I collect attractive boys.”

But then she goes back to begin a manipulative cat, batting around boys like they’re mice.

    “It’s fun when someone intends to put you in his back pocket, but instead, he walks away wounded,” she said. “I make it a mind game, so they don’t know if I’m hitting on them or mocking them. Male actors drop lines about their private jets, trying to seem powerful, but I don’t give a sh–. I don’t need someone else’s power. I’m obtaining my own.”

Disney To Buy Marvel Entertainment In $4 Billion Deal

Looks like Mickey Mouse will show the Hulk, X-Men, Iron Man, Spiderman and the rest of the Marvel super heroes whose boss.  Marvel has announced that Disney has bought them out in a $4 billion dollar deal (just north of 20 times earnings) that has come as a surprise to many. But Disney which has been recording reduced profits over the last few quarters, with a significant drop from $1.5 billion to $954 million in the last year, needed a boost and got it in Marvel’s massive licensing machine.  The buyout will see Marvel shareholder getting $30 per share, plus 0.745 in Disney shares, equaling $50 a share for each Marvel stock owned.  The deal has already been approved by both boards but is subject to clearance under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Act. Marvel’s shareholders must still approve the deal. While many may worry about what this means for the many films Marvel has in the pipeline, Disney says it won’t spoil those plans and is looking forward to bringing several Marvel characters to the big screen that remain less known to the general public.   Marvel executive, Ike Perlmutter agrees, saying there is nothing on the horizon but sunshine, rainbows, and general happiness.

    “Disney is the perfect home for Marvel’s fantastic library of characters given its proven ability to expand content creation and licensing businesses. This is an unparalleled opportunity for Marvel to build upon its vibrant brand and character properties by accessing Disney’s tremendous global organization and infrastructure around the world,” he was quoted by the BBC.

With Hollywood seemingly devoid of ideas it should come as little surprise that yet another sequel is now coming your way.

Having grossed $414+ million with ‘Bad Boys’ 1 and 2, the explosion-packed antics of Will Smith and Martin Lawrence as two Miami detectives with a positive fetish for standing quite still while Michael Bay’s loving camera revolves around them in slow-mo, Columbia Pictures now want the highly bankable trio to do it again.

The franchise’s 1995 bow was Bay’s directorial debut, and paired Smith [in his first film role since 'Fresh Prince,'] with the more laid-back Lawrence. The result grossed over $141-million at the box-office worldwide. 2003’s inevitable sequel saw both Bay and Smith now full-fledged as stars, and hauled in $273-million just on its own. So, of course, the bosses want more.

Due to be written by Peter Craig, who wrote ‘The Town,’ which Ben Affleck is now directing in Massachusetts, according to the Hollywood Reporter, everyone involved in the two previous outings is keen to return. But no-one’s signed up so far, so don’t make big plans just yet.

Chris Brown admits Rihanna attack a mistake

His alleged assault on the singer, Rihanna started a firestorm of speculation and rumor. And now, finally, America will get to hear his side of the story from Chris Brown himself.

In his first interview since the arrest, Chris will appear on CNN Wednesday to tell Larry King the whole sordid deal. He says he still loves Rihanna and has no recollection of the fateful event. Shown Rihanna’s mugshot by King, Chris is clearly still shocked, “When I look at it now, it’s just like….wow. I can’t believe that actually happened.”

In the oft-delayed court case which finally reached trial on June 22, Chris was spared jail time, but sentenced to five years probation and six months of labor, “Nobody taught us how to love each other,” he muses. “Nobody gave us a book on how to control our emotions or anger. I wish now that I could have changed that night.”


But Chris is clear on the issue of cause and effect, “Everything comes with consequences,” he admits. “Now they want me to pick up trash and remove graffiti, and it’s something I’m willing to do.”

During the interview Chris’s mom’s at his side, and she agrees that his acts were unforeseen and unwise, “Chris has never, ever been a violent person…Ever.” she tells King.

So what happens now, the veteran reporter next asks? “He walks the straight and narrow for 5-years,” says Brown’s attorney, Mark Geragos. “And I have a high degree of confidence…that he’s not going to do anything like this in the future.”

The topic of Rihanna and their forced separation clearly touches a large nerve with young Chris. “We’re not together, but if she’s happy, I’m cool. We have to be ten-yards apart but we’ll always be friends,” he muses. “I made a mistake, and it was just something I have to face up to and own.”

DJ AM’s tragic death may have been accidental

As we reported earlier, the high profile musical guru, DJ AM who was found dead on Friday. New information is emerging that points to the fact that what was originally labeled as a likely suicide may in fact have been accidental.

36-year old Adam Goldstein, the much sought-after DJ whose skills with a turntable brought him widespread celebrity and a  highly glamorous life was found dead in his upscale New York apartment late Friday evening. NYPD sources are now saying a crack pipe and a collection of prescription pills were found at his side, and it’s believed the recovering addict was lured back to hard drugs by a fear of flying, made worse by his unbridled success.

After a near fatal plane crash last year, Mr. Goldstein was prescribed anti-anxiety drugs such as Xanax, part of a family of medications called ‘Benzodiazepines’ – known as benzos – to deal with his fears about flying again. But for a former addict like Adam, such pills can become an addiction themselves. And according to sources, that’s just what they did.

NYPD insiders tell TMZ that taking the benzos had tempted the DJ to start using crack cocaine once again, and the combination of both is what’s believed to have killed him.

The investigation is ongoing and an autopsy verdict is expected quite soon. We’ll keep you advised as the news comes.

Former First Daughter Jenna Bush Scores TV Correspondent on Today Show

Former first daughter and White House teenage terror, Jenna Bush Hager, was hired as a correspondent for the Today Show, where she will contribute monthly pieces on education and literacy. Hager, 27-years-old, works as a school teacher in Baltimore, where she resides with her husband Henry.

After two prior appearances on the Today Show, Jim Bell, executive producer for the show, was impressed with Hager’s natural presence before the cameras. She appeared with her mother to promote their picture book and Hager appeared alone on a different occasion to promote her book about an HIV-infected single mother, “Ana’s Story: A Journey of Hope.”

Bell denies hiring the former first daughter as a backdoor way to score a coveted interview with her father, former President Bush, who has largely stayed behind the scenes since leaving public office. “…When she came here for a handful of appearances, she knocked it out of the park,” said Bell.

Hager doesn’t plan to report on politics nor about her experiences in the White House. She says stories about being the daughter of the president would not be “…that interesting,” because she is “…pretty normal.”

Hager will debut with her first report next month on the subject of education.

Event organizer Sylvie Chabot, 54, of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, said dozens of women and male supporters gathered Sunday in Central Park to shed their tops and march on Central Park South to mark National Go-Topless Day, the New York Daily News reported Monday.


A 1992 ruling by the state Supreme Court made New York the only state where it is legal for a woman to go topless in public. However, the protesters said authorities do not always abide by the 1992 ruling. Artist Jill Coccaro was arrested in 2005 for exposing her breasts on a city street and was held for 12 hours, despite citing the ruling to the arresting officers. Coccaro filed a lawsuit against the city that was settled for $29,000.

"We're all here for the same reason -- to allow women to be free in the park like men," Chabot told the crowd.
